On Wednesday, August 11, 2021, we began our visits to families in disadvantaged neighborhoods to bring hope and a meal to the children.
Due to Covid we cannot organize events.
Therefore, we prepare meals in our homes and go out to meet the families ourselves.
Cuban children have free access to education and it is compulsory until the age of 15, but the financial crisis is plunging families into great precariousness. The shortage of food produces malnutrition in children. Furthermore, how can learning be encouraged when a child goes to school without being properly fed?
How is your help used?
Since the needs in Cuba are immediate, we use every donation, no matter how small, to make a difference in Cuba. With $100, we were able to prepare meals for 150 children in 3 underprivileged neighborhoods in Jiguani.
